Fame, The restless soul

"Fame, The restless soul"

An open door to walk right through

The swung wide gate you never knew

Unlocked precaution of all that you thought

The untraceable pathway that you never sought

In blinding rain from a storms swept tears

Where the here to now moved in timid fears

The more cautious ride would move the walk

In the shadow an unknown image would blanket, stalk

A more peaceful way is the straightest for sure

Yet, the turbulent road now feels more the cure

Yes, the restless soul that all would have be tame

But that's not the way for souls of history fame
