Two in the Mirror

I open my eyes

All that I see

Is the man that I am

Staring back at me

No reflection distorted

This image is true

Not just in the single

No a reflection of two

The man that I am

Then the one I see

One is the present

The other a hope to me

This I live with

These faces in there

In  seeing  the other

I know is all fair

Known.. neither one

Can live with the other

Though they are related

In soul they are brothers

What split the image

To make the two

Who moves the mirror

To change the true view

This can not go on

These two in the glass

One will continue

The other must pass

Must go forever

So, the other can stay

Only one twin survives

It firmly must be this way......
