Rush of Fools

Rush of Fools

To the dream, rushes the fool
Swept away by what can be
Turned by devices of visions seen
Erased by the common man's shoes

Paths and trails and rivers fast moving
To flight with momentum and flare
Onward and toward destiny's myth
Hurried by failures enticing proposal

Wisdom says stop, slow, then abandon
Clearly never to be once embraced
For in the folly of fools, dreamers remember
To run and let all others give chase
