Miracles Bloom

Miracles Bloom

Miracles bloom on the other side

On the other side of the fence

On the other side of the street

That flower grows in another’s garden

Bursting forth from the ground over there

Not in the place of arrived expectation

Her beauty shines from afar off

Her brightness glows with the barest of glances

She spreads her petals to captivate a stranger

Miracles bloom for a whisper of time

With peddles colored so spectacular

Only to be enjoyed for a luscious moment

Miracles bloom to be enjoyed, not touched

They are the temptation of baser men

To touch them is to destroy them in our greed
