Comfortable Traveler

Comfortable traveler

With worn and weathered shoes

Move on past me, mine are new and clean

Carry away your stories, of far off places seen

Let another wonder, for what could and could not be

Comfortable traveler

With tattered and dirty clothes

Keep your pace, I’m slow and can’t keep up

Venture not with adventure, or peace you will disrupt

Consider someone other, for what would and would not be

Comfortable traveler

With wide and opened eyes

Pass me quickly, sparkled bright and crooked grin

Fly right over , beautiful wings spread wide again

Tempt someone else, for what should and should not be

Comfortable traveler

With shoes, clothes, and eyes affixed

Move past, fly over, and keep the pace of dreams

Carry adventure and temptation in rare sparkling beams

For there are reasons, for what could, should, and would not be
